Is a 1986 Arima Sea Chaser a good boat?

And wondering if it's a good deal or not. I am looking to use it for fishing and island cruising around Comox. The guy said it's pretty bare and doesn't have any downriggers or fish finder...

Looks good from here...
Can't recommend enough having it surveyed first.
I can also recommend "Erik Bentzen" as a reputable surveyor in Seattle with fair rates. I did a lot of research to find him. He saved me from myself once when I got googily eyed boat fever over an older fiberglass fishing boat in the Seattle area.
Saved myself a trip down there to see it too.

flat bottom, =stable troller, but pounds....
very economical to run tho, not alot of draft.

slivo used to run his 17 out to big bank,, but then again he is a crazy croation.

I have a 16 ' Arima Sea chaser - yes , they do "bounce" when it's bumpy out there. The bonus is very stable/wide boat, lots of fishing room and light to tow and operate.
