How to tell if a Chinook is red, white, or marbled?

I vote white

You're all close....but EMAN was right, in the middle with Marble. I found it very interesting how different muscle bands were different shades, which was clear to see because of the size of the muscles. It was a bit messier than the normal cleaning because I didn't want to bleed this beauty until it had hit the scale. This guy fed a staff of 45 for our holiday party.

Offering ceremony back to the fish gods...

Interestingly, as more people prefer the reds and fishermen release whites where possible this will only increase the number of whites dramatically as when they interbreed the offsprings of a red and a white are normally marbled or white. The white genes are dominant.
