How Much For A Pack Of Anchovies Where You Shop?

Stopped by 3 Vets here in Vancouver today to buy a pack of Anchovies.

Had never bought them there before and was absolutely floored to see they were charging $8.49!!!

When I took up the matter with Harvey Wong the fishing guy he said "Oh the price of bait has gone up".

Gone up?

With tax that's almost a dollar apiece for frozen baitfish!!!

So I called Berry's in Richmond, who are also the local wholesaler, and the are retailing a pack of Rhys Davis Anchovies for $6.69.

How much are you paying @ your local?

I didn't know whether to laugh or cry!

I think they are 5.50 to 6.00 a pack in nanaimo.I know they are not much more than six bucks.
