Grocery Store in Vancouver

[Last Chance]

Was at a little grocery store in Van today while the woman was out shopping. There was a tank with LIVE lingcod in it, for $4.59 a pound. Sure enough there were 4 of 'em in there. First time I have ever seen local groundfish and spot prawns for sale live anywhere! I'm actually quite surprised they were such a low price per pound.

The live groundfish business in Vancouver is big now lots of restaurants have live tanks not just a few like years past, that's where the Big Money is paid, most stores like T&T aren't all that expensive.
