If the motor is stored tilted up all the way it is supposed to sit for 5-10 min after it is tilted down before started otherwise there will be a little residual oil that is left from being stored upright and will burn off

I had to laugh, they posted a new ad without the smoking outboard, but in this one they have both the bilge pumps barfing water.
