Looks cool. Try and resist the urge to tie a loop around the handle to your wrist to keep it from becoming a donation to the briny sea. That could send you down with it if you lose control of the cannon ball.
I had an incident off Epsom point once when it was rough. Braid failed and lost a cannonball so rerigged with a bit of slack in the braid. Did not realize the braid was wrapped around my finger and by fluke we got waked broadside by one of the asshat yachties running into Garden Bay. I lost my balance and the ball went overboard down at least 15' and then yanked me along with it. Managed to get some slack and release my peeled finger from the line with the help of my father in law who was at the wheel, half deaf and fully cut so it was sketchy. Got a cool scar to remind my dumbass about it too.
