Glueing carpet down

Had to peel the carpet off the front of my aluminum seat boxes to cut the boxes shorter. Need to mount the air rides on the floor.. What glue is best to put the carpet back on the front of the boxes.. I only peeled the front section off to cut and reweld the box. The carpet is still fine I used a heat gun to soften up the glue,just need an idea of what glue works best to reapply.

I know 3M makes an adhesive that comes in a spray can. works well... I think that's what i would use but other guys prob have a better idea....

Try the glue-down, commercial carpet adhesive that's available at any flooring store.
