RCMP investigate series of thefts from Nanaimo boats

Nanaimo RCMP are investigating a recent outbreak of thefts from boats docked at Stones Marina.
Police who believe the break-ins occurred between 11 p.m. on July 4 and 3 a.m. on July 5.
Suspects allegedly entered through open doors and hatch covers on the boats. Owners told police that they felt the boats were secure due to the locked access gate.
