I think the amount of nets on the rivers a week back was somewhat overkill. I see both sides of the story, we have some really poor etiquette from sport fishers. Yet, the voice from the First Nations as stewards of the land along with enriching past traditions has left me thinking some. Maybe just use traditional techniques and take what is useful for community. A previous opening a few years back I took this musqueam band photo. Nets left in the tidal portion of the Fraser, tied up to a pier throughout the day. At low tide the Sockeye were left hanging in the air and cooking in the sun. Anyone else would get the book thrown at them, yet we allow this...its not OK.

If this story is true, it’s just one side, then these guys are clowns with no class.

But continue this policy of unequal treatment of citizens and more of this will happen, mark my words, it will only get worse.

This government seems to love sewing hate into our community.
