Fishing Charters Near Nanimo

Hi All,

I will be visiting Nanimo and am interested in fishing charters in the area. Generally interested in a mix of Salmon and bottom fishing. I am interested in any positive experiences or recommendations. I have googled a few and am following up but I am looking positive work of mouth experiences. Some initial feedback from Ontario forums has been to consider Tofino or Campbell River.

Right at this particular time I would go with Tofino for a charter.

But when you get here things might have changed......seems to be just starting to pick up on the inside.....

Be aware that you don't get the rollers off Nanaimo like you sometimes do off the West Coast....so if you haven't got your "sealegs" or you're prone to seasickness then Nanaimo might better....

They get their "dream" days off Tofino, conditions-wise........but lots of days with rollers too....

Got to agree with Seafever here, especially if you are more into catching than fishing. Nanaimo was steady until mid June, but tough since.
