Engine height help

Take a look at Mercurys prop lineup.
Some are designed for stern lift (Rev4) and some for cruise (Enertia Eco) or top end etc.
Some for combinations thereof.
I sacrificed some top end for a 28% gain in economy. Props are a science.
As far as aluminum props go they flex and "flatten" with load and this is where they lose their efficiencies vs a stainless prop.
Look at the prop calculator with your specs input, yes Merc props can be used on a yamaha. You may find something similar in another product but......it's not going to have the same research.
You may end up with a 16 dia x 17.5P Enertia ECO XP recommendation

Thanks very much!
