Sounds like a great idea to me. Send Alberta crude down to Ontario to be processed and reduce imports of foreign oil. Less need to move oil across BC that way. Sounds like a win for everybody.
The project is not new.
They had it 2008 but gave up on it right when the country needed something like this.
So fast forward to 2012 this project seems like a no brainer.
Flip the battery posts on the pumps and shuffle some paperwork between pencil pushers.
No pipelines need to be built except where the old ones needed upgrading.
Send Gunsmith out to weld up the plants and were done.
Stop getting oil from the middle east and send some to gulf of mexico if you must.
After all we have a tanker port on that side of the country.
You know the one where 48% of Canada oil gets imported.
