Dry ice or salt ice???

So Iv got a trip planned for end of June. I'm camping and fishing for 3 days.
What would be better to keep my catch.
Salt ice or dry ice?

And I know where I can get dry ice. But where in Nanaimo can I get salt ice. Or on the road north to Port McNeal?

Boat land in Campbell River or else French Creek.

Hub City Fisheries, 262 Southside Dr, Nanaimo has bulk salt ice. Give them a call first to make sure they have some.

Dry Ice will burn your fish if not handled properly. It's better for keeping ice ice.

They never have had ice in the 40 years that I have been here in CR. Campbell River Seafood has very good bulk ice, as does Boatland. Boatland is probably easier to get into and out of with a truck and trailer. I’ve used them both.

The car wash across the street from Sportsman has an ice machine. Regular chipped ice.
