dropping/lowering mooring anchor??

We just pushed ours off the pod. We ended up just hoping for the best and it worked out. I was considering tieing a scotsman and dropping it down to land upright, then cutting the rope after but didnt bother.

Completely off topic, but what part of Ruxton? I'm in Herring Bay.

We are just off the southern tip where you would look directly at pylades island.

Funny enough my Dad and uncle purchased the land 25-30 years ago.. or whenever the island was partitioned off. They had visited the property once.. So i've decided to make my best attempt at clearing the land and setting up a small seasonal cabin/camping spot.
