wow that is an extreme case no doubt, He must have had quite the craving for lobsters if it was enough to end his life. Think the bottom line was he came between people putting food on the table for their families..SAD.

Maybe he was trying to put food on his own families table? Could be he was a fishermen who for some reason or another wasnt gifted quota so he chose (wrongly) to continue trying to make a living the way he knew how.

A little rough stuff was probably in order and clearly it went way too far. Tragic for all involved I doubt they meant to kill him - they probably wanted to but I doubt they meant to.
