Diesel fuel in Port Renfrew

Hey guys,

Weighing the options of Renfrew vs. Bamfield this summer and fuel availability might be the deciding factor.

What are the options for marine diesel fuel in Port Renfrew? Not real comfortable going up the river to the marina with twin screws on shafts as it can get pretty shallow in there.

Spoke to Pacific Gateway, and they only have gas. He mentioned that either PetroCan or Columbia do a run to the Government Dock to fill some of the Commercial fleets -- has anyone done something like that or are there other options?

Ever get an Answer Ten Mile? We are looking at a trip next week to either Renfrew or Bamfield and would need diesel fuel too.

Yes. Pacific Gateway gave me the number to the driver who supplies the commercial fleet on the Govt dock. Call them and ask. He comes a few times per week.

Bamfield has a couple options with no fuss. Some good fishing options too regardless of the weather.
