15-20 crew members to operate this aircraft is ridiculous. It's a 2 crew plane, how many people and doing what are there in the back? How about 15-20 more enforcement officers on the water or at the marinas. I'd love to see exactly what data they are collecting.

There is NO WAY they're flying over to count halibut sportsfishing boats. The cost is ridiculous compared to sending out a RHIB with two guys on it, or a creel person at the ramp.

The new plane in 2020 in CR is going to be for keeping tabs on commercial fishing boats, not sporties.

Just came back from lunch, their red Dash 8 flew low over Cape Mudge then did a turn over downtown to set up for a strafing run.
