At .04 x 418 million chinooks is 16.7 million returning. That is mass numbers cruising down the west coast VI.

4% survival is a pipe dream. More commonly under 1% with lots of releases getting 0.5 %. Go to the Bonneville Dam web site and there are links that will take you to juvenile survival to adult return data.

My math was wrong should have been .004 x 418 million. I’ll do a little digging on Bonneville dam number thx for the tip.
