Hi guys, a client of ours is a rep for Batson, which is the main supplier of blanks, guides, tips, etc...to the big name rod companies like Sage, Loomis, etc...from what I understand Batson supplies all of the components and the rod companies have them built to their specs and then put their names on them.
This guy made a couple of custom rods for me last year (hali and salmon) and put our logo right on the rods and they're sweet and I'm going to get some more done up this winter. You can basically get whatever you want, the list of components is massive.
Would anyone else be interested in getting some custom rods built for yourself or your business? They're a nice gift, keepsake, and good advertising for the top notch guides/operations who may be interested in that sort of thing. The costs would depend on what you want and how many, but I just wanted to see if anyone would be interested.
