Crabs..boil or steamed?

I'm going to try them out in the pressure cooker next time. Steam them in there and see what happens.
 
What do you guys do with leftover shells and gils? I've tried throwing in some shrimps in the pot and all of my leftover stuff from crab to make stock, came out great!

smash em up a bit more and give to the chickens we have they love them, and yes crab bisque

I absolutely love crab bisque. A life time ago I served at the cannery here in town, and they left the crab bisque unguarded for us to serve directly since we sold so much of it, along with chowder. Chef was always asking wtf we went through so much bisque and crab meat for each bowl when we old sold less than 40 upstairs? Haha...in your face, Bud Kanke!!
