cowichan river clay bank

I heard a rumour that they were going to divert the river around that clay bank that colours up the river so badly.Any truth to that.Any info appreciated.[?]

I believe it coats the gravel bottom and chokes out all salmon and steelhead redds.

they started work on the rerout but not sure if they finished it . this will greatly help the cowichan .tight lines scottyboy

Everything is diverted and with the coming 1" plus of rain it will give it a good run...
