Volvo Penta 5.0L/280 leg package $1200

Going to an offshore bracket and outboard setup so we are selling our inboard as a complete package. It currently has a spark issue that will need to be diagnosed. It is a fresh water cooled Volvo Penta 5.0. Engine has no more than 40 hours on it, complete rebuild in 08 and was not really used until last season. $3800 in receipts for engine. Fresh rebuilt Rochester carb, new starter, new water pump, new fuel pump, new risers, new alternator, new heat exchanger. Even compression across all 8 cylinders. Volvo 280 outdrive is is good shape. Motor is on crate ready to go in Langley BC.

Sorry did not see your post until now. The motor was new in 2008, 220hp, 17 pitch prop, the block is a 5 Liter displacement. This was in my 18 foot 6 double eagle so should suit a boat around the same size
