Ask Cuba Libra....... :)

I think they are delivered to the pond and not raised by CF&G

There is no hatchery on Comox lake other than a small rearing facility that the Courtenay F&G.uses to produce several throusnad coho fry for the Trent River. The rainbows for Family Fishing Weekend are from the Duncan Fresh Water Fisheries Soc. hatchery. They are triploid (sterile) rainbow that cant spawn if they are released into Comox Lake after the weekend. Now-- my question--- what has this to do with the Fraser Valley?

These triploids come in three different stains blackwater ,penask, and fraser valley witch grow the largest ,all can live up to eight years or longer. There only year one when the gate at the pond is opened to the lake .could there be a lunker ?I'm a fisherman, i embellish Hatchery /rearing facility as same.Family fishing weekend is on fathers day.
