Clams - Vancouver Island

Hey all,

Has anyone on the south island (vic, sooke, mill bay etc) been out clamming this year? Seems like everywhere is either closed because of toxins or **** pollution. Any help with area would be great (not spots, just general area - unless you want to PM me a spot)

I called DFO in January and there were no spots open on the South Island.
