Wow, Higgins creams Chara on what is definitely a cheap shot, intent to injure, whatever and surprise surprise, no penalty. What a joke! Why even have refs, just have two linesman and last man standing wins. One more past leaky Lou and it is over. Thomas looks like he will top his Conn Smythe performance with a shutout.

That third goal kinda sucked.... I wouldn't have cared if it was a penalty shot...... but didn't whistle blow before the puck went into he net?

I was watching with my missus and my mum. The ladies had the good sense to switch teams with 4 minutes to go. They are on top of the world. Me... not so much.

Not making excuses but here is my take. Their goalie played better than ours and that represented 2 wins for Boston. Based on the type of game the league allowed to take place the better team won. What pisses me off about the NHL and it is the only pro league where this would happen, you play under the written rules all season then in the most important game of the season they disappear. That goes for both teams, the hit on Chara was ignored, so many others. Vancouver's success has been the power play, that was taken away from them by the league and then a couple of calls made to make it look better after the game was lost... isn't fair, or right. Boston was the best team all year 5 on 5 so they were given an advantage and the other a disadvantage...period!!!
