I was wanting to buy a fishing boat, aluminum haul, strickly for fishing in the salt chuck, price ranging anywhere from 30 to 70 thousand, can anyone give me some good names or personal prefences, thanks again

Try Silver streak boats out of Sooke. Also i'm not sure if Lifetimer has some smaller boats in that price range.

Silver Streak also comes to my mind right away too! Can't go wrong with a Silver Streak, made for the West Coast!

This one has been on the market for a few years from a few brokers, so I would say LOOK CAREFULLY:

This one seems a little lacking in deck space but looks like a steal of the survey doesn't find any problems:

And finally, this is a classic case of "What the @#%&*! where they thinking":

thanks for the help from whoever has responded, very thankful, the search continues

That Lifeforce boat seems like a steal wonder why? Except she might be a little under powered.

We live in welded aluminum country as we and almost all of our neighbours run welded aluminums as we all live on islands full time and use them year round in all kinds of weather.

My favorite higher end boat of the ones I've seen is a Silver Streak (which is within your budget even decked out). The attention to detail on the finish is really good. Really smooth welds, nice paint and lot's of well thought out little details. Look at the 18-20' models with the swim grid, front/rear walk thru's with a 150-200 outboard. That's the next boat we'll be getting.
