Buying a boat in Washington State

Anyone happen to drive a boat/trailer to the border WITHOUT the trailer title? Just wondering if they'd let ya through.
Anybody knows what would they'd do if you did?

I went to the border crosssing in June 2009 and spoke to them specifically in regards to this issue and they advised unless the trailer comes from a non-title state you must have title for the trailer or else they will not allow you to bring the trailer into Canada. In addition the manufacturares decal, showing the serial #, weight capacity, must be ledgible or again you will have trouble at the border.

ya last night had to turn around and put it at brothers cabin till i get it sent up no fun a toll

So you bring the trailer/boat throught Port Angeles/ Victoria crossing via the ferries.
Do you suppose they'll send you back to the states?

So did they give ya grief for the boat title or the trailers?
