Boats on Used Victoria and Other Areas

Appreciate for the info you provided
Everyone has there own opinions in regards to fibreglass vs aluminum.

I have a 2725 Kingfisher and I couldn’t be happier. Closed cab is a must once you’ve had one in my opinion. It’s pretty nice to turn the heater on and dry off while on the run in from offshore. Or when your winter prawning the wife and kids can come hang out at the same time.

Yeah the ride isn’t as nice as a fibreglass in a comparable size. But I’m younger and a good seat makes a big difference. Maybe if I was a guide fishing the westcoast id lean towards something heavier or a better ride.

Gets up on plane quick, cheaper on fuel, huge dance floor. Lighter and more trailerable. Every boat has pros and cons.

My advice is do your own research check out as many boats as possible. Decide what works best for you and your situation.

Was this posted? Looks like the one that was for sale in Ladner last year.

I am not familiar with this brand, but with the newer boat, motor, kicker etc. that comes with it, this appears to be priced well.

2018 Ultrasport 18’. $39,900.

I've always liked these Glasply's with the short cabin and huge deck.Especially if they don't have outdrives. Nice example being fresh water boat.
Very well done listing as well. Some realtors don’t put that much effort into selling a house for $1.5m

Price drop. $29,995. Reasonably priced package.
2005 Harbercraft 19.5’ aluminum.
Re powered with 150 Yamaha + 9.9 Yamaha kicker both extremely low hrs.
Center console welded with trailer.

Is there a reason cc’s have the station so far back? It seems like there’s hardly any dance floor on many of them.

You could fight the fish in the back corner and then move up the side towards the front at net time. Easiest boats to net from. Dance floor includes the ability to walk around the centre console while fighting a fish.

Next time you come to Vancouver, bring your license and I’ll take you out for a first hand experience.

Ride quality.
Cope puts his console quite forward. Lodge boats often have seats up front so guests can watch the rods looking towards the stern. Plus interacting with the skipper is easy.

Here’s a Cope built by Walker. You can choose console location though with Cope. EA1984A6-FB14-45AA-8BF9-99E3B4BCB7F4.jpeg

This is my friends boats which I've been halibut and salmon fishing out of.
It is a welded boat, has 8 ft beam, only 175 hours on the main engine and not many hours on the kicker. The trailer is in excellent shape. It has all the salmon gear ready to go. It has been well kept and serviced and he went to the boat almost every day to clean it. Even when it was clean.
Lots of halibut and salmon have been landed on this boat in it's short life time of fishing. Here is a photo I took in July 2022. $40K
