Boat sound system

Finally got around to installing the sound system in the boat this week, had it for a year but just never got it done...
I am a bit picky with installing electronics so it took me a while.
The sound is great and the glass mount antennae worked very well which surprised me.
One thing I am wondering about..Battery strength???
I have one starting battery and one deep cycle accessory battery..Is that enough..I also have a solar charger that plugs into the cigarette lighter and puts out something like 3 amps but have never used it while out fishing????
Is that worth using when I'm out anchored or drift mooching??
I also have one more new deep cycle I could add into the system. Is that overkill(two accessory batteries)?.....I also run Scotty electrics and the usual GPS/Chartplotter/VHF..

getting around to installing my am fm also If you are trolling or motor mooching with a kicker motor that charges your battries you are in great shape with two Batts on board.am fm's don't use much juice anywhy.

You'll be totally fine with 2 as well as the panel.

Howdy AFG,

Agreed, you should be fine with two good battery's. Never hurts to throw a top-up charge at em' the night before you go out.

Just make sure you have a battery-isolator switch and use it.

Rock-on!
