Boat seat boxes

So I’m contemplating building my own pedestal seat box with a little storage underneath for the rigger balls, has anybody built one before? What kinda material did you use? Or where is the best place to buy a basic seat box in canada

I made an aluminum box that holds a fish cooler as well as being a seat pedestal. Can't see it in this pic but there's a bulkhead welded in below the seat to stop it from racking laterally, plus it creates a vertical pocket to store fire extinguisher and MFD covers. Seat pad for a third passenger if required. Cooler is good for dry, out of sight storage when not needed for ice and fish. Gotta be space-efficient in a 19 footer.
