This was in todays Campbell River paper:
A thief dropped the meat he was stealing from Save On Foods Sunday and fled off on foot. The man, believed not to be a vegetarian - at least until his court date - is described as in his 30s wearing a baseball cap, grey hoody and jeans. He had taken about $300 worth of meat before fleeing to nearby Home Hardware possibly to check out deals on barbecues. The store surveillance video is being reviewed and police are asking for the public's assistance as well. ncameron@courierislander.com
