With the salmon closures (for now) I thought I’d get out and do some boat camping - boat to a cove/beach, get close to shore or beach the boat and unload a small pack with a tent, anchor up for the night. And move along the next day.
I’ll have a small kayak or SUP, so I can get to shore if it’s not beachable. Don’t need amenities.
I know we all have secret spots etc, but I’m wondering if anyone out there can share a spot or two that they like, can be anywhere from Howe Sound, gulf islands up to Port Hardy, I’ve got chunks of time once in a while. Small aluminum boat - 20ft.
Just getting this thread started in case others are interested too. I can’t sleep in my boat so popular anchorages are out.
Cheers and thanks. Let’s find ways to get out on the water despite the closures.
