im suprised to see split rings. id much rather have a welded ring on both ends

Easier to change out the hook with the split ring maybe?

I use open eyed siwash hook for spoons, I think most people do too? id have to add a swivel to the front end, I wouldn't tie the leader to a split ring

The small 2 and 3 inch spoons, a swivel at the front end affects the action. Many of us tie right to the split ring without an incident.

just my personal preference. im sure they catch fish either way!
