Bella Coola May Long Weekend

Just curious, I will be in Bella Coola over the May long weekend. I do not know the timing of Salmon runs in this area and was wondering if there would be any Springs in the Bella Coola river worth casting a line for. Any information is appreciated.

I can,t answer that question but I,m positive Jim @ Rip Rap campsite in hagensburg can. Super clean campsite , awesome cabins , nobody more accommodating and friendly and loves his fishing. ( I wish I new how to add a link )Do you have driftboat , on shore or getting guide?

I was looking at fishing from shore or getting a guide if one was availiable.

Rip rap is right on the river but doesn,t have boat launch.Baily bridge campground has launch but more ummmm rustic imo.Jim at rip rap will give you the real lowdone , great guy.Last fall was my first trip out there and thats were I,m going next time too.
