Been buying usually a side or a hind the last few years from on of the local meat places. Looking to maybe buying from a different source in the next month or so.

Anybody else buy beef in bulk? Who do you go through?

I haven't ever bought beef in bulk other than buying a rib from Costco and cutting my own steaks. But this year I ordered a half a buffalo from XH Buffalo Ranch near 70 mile house. It's been amazing. I think it was $7 per pound. Something to keep in mind if you want some lean version of beef.

When my wife and I got married we used to buy a side of beef every year from a local farmer and split it with my parents or my brother inlaw. We havent done it for years. The meat was amazing but now that I'm comfortable breaking down bigger pieces, grinding, stuffing, smoking etc.....Costco is more effective for us
