Bamfield Freezer Space

Hi guys. I have an extended stay in bamfield this August with a group of friends and 2 boats. Our rental house only has a small 3.5cubic foot freezer. We normally process and vaccuum pack on site so keeping the vac bags on ice for 6 days will not work.

Anywhere I can rent a freezer? Any ideas ?

On big trips with multiple guys we just throw a small freezer and a small generator in the back of a pickup and just plug in when we have power. That or salted ice are the way to go

Costco too. I had a client buy a generator, use it for four months hard on their site then return it.

Thanks for the input. I think we have decided on buying a used chest freezer and bringing it up. If anyone in bamfield wants a freezer let me know, saves me having to bring it back.
