Has anybody tried the Baitrix artificial anchovies in the sooke area? Although the real thing is cheaper, just wondering if these things actually produce hit's.

This subject has been debated a few times over on the many bc fishing forums.

My opinion is : IF IT AIN'T broke don't fix it.

BTW, bait busters get their butt whipped by herring strip all the time..and I suspect baittrix would be no different.

I got a package last year, but no fish.
At least "I" got caught.
Seem like a good product though. I still have some left that I keep in the tackle box for those days when I forget or run out of fresh.
Did leave one out of the ziploc bag last fall. Sat in the garage over the winter disintegrating into a gelatinous blob. Wonder what they are made of?

Anyone tried these for springs amongst all the pinks this summer? Saw someone went through 4 packs of bait today. They are semi-reusable are they not? cheers

What type of head did u put it in? Was it a JDF by chance?
