are they even awake at 530am?

Me and my fishing bud dragged our sorry asses outa bed at 5am to me on Langford lake at 530 and were skunked. Any ideas on where i was going wrong? We were at the dock on the back side and we were using floating pwr bait (which works for me)

On the lower island lakes the best time for trout is early in the morning and late in the evening during the summer months.

The docks on Langford lake aren't in the prime spots. if your fishing from shore try the dock at Elk Lake. Shore fishing is harder during the warm summer months.

Where are the prime spots of that lake and what is the correct depth while trolling, We just got our canoe on the water so we are excited to get started
