Anyone on here used this winch?

I have no experience with this winch but the price is good. You may want to think about mounting it in a trailer receiver.............one on the front and one on the back of the sidekick.
For power connections, those twist type welding cable types work good on the front & rear, that way you can winch from the front or back as the need be.

As with most electric winches, check the duty cycle of them, below is the Warn Provantage 4500lb
https://www.warn.com/truck/ReplacementParts/parts/359/89356A1_rs.pdf

As you can see, the Warn, draws 318amp @ 4500lbs pull for only 10 seconds, gaining one half foot on the cable and then a 10 minute cool down is recommended.

Umm, yes - but in my application the planetary gears are a bit clanky/ tinny - but I removed the spool so that may have affected the end play. ( coupling is still there )

But the motor itself seems quite decent - it pushes my boat around 6500lbs very well and doesn't heat up even when I go up a slight incline in the driveway
