Vancouver Port Authority wishes to close sport fishing in the area around the Lion's Gate Bridge due to vessel traffic concerns. Apparently the Port has their own authorization and can do this.
There is a meeting on the 24th to "negotiate" but it looks like 14th st. Pier to Siwash to the bridge.

(I don't fish the Cap, so I'm not familiar with the boundaries you described...)
