anyone been up north?

going steelheading with a couple buds up north island this weekend, wondering if anyone had been out nimpkish, quatse, marble, cluxewe or anything ? email me if u dont want to post a report...

E.E., how did you guy's make out at the top of the rock.. I would imagine things were a little on the low side, on the other hand some of those flows offer the tea even in the low conditions. Cheers-dirty

day 1 hit the quatse... ditch low and freezing over in some spots (like -10) managed to pull one fish out about 8 pound hatchery buck.

day 2 hit a west coast river that was also low, but still acceptable and had a great day managing 7 (all around 6-10 pounds) and losing 3, plus some decent trout action.

so pretty good considering the weather conditions, but im jelous of whoever will be up there once the rain comes in becaue im sure there'll be a good push of fish.
