Amundson Savvy Sumo jigging rod?

Anyone tried the Amundson Savvy Sumo 6’3” jigging rod?
i am looking for a jigging rod for lingcod. These look good on the shelf for $150.

I use one. Nice backbone. Good for Lings & hali. I run a squall 30 as well. Prefer it over my trevala.

I was going to put a spinning reel on it with braid but maybe should look for something with larger eyes to work best with spinning reel.

I have one with a spinning rod and braid on it. I use it for coho while on the hook for hali, or jigging lings and other bottom fish. It casts a stingzelda or heavy spoon well. I have it because it fits in my cuddy without having to break it down. In my opinion it does everything acceptably but nothing exceptionally.

I have run that rod in medium heavy as my bottom rod for at least four years. It has never let me down.
