Anyone been fishin around mouth of the cap and pink hotel for chinook? Only report i've heard for vancouver was out at T10, but any fish inside?

I was out yesterday. Saw 2 undersized caught and released.
I didn't get any bites.

I'd like to head back up to Powell River where I had sucess from the 3rd to the 10th.

VERY quiet locally. I know of the odd odd odd fish off Ambleside...the Cap has been a raging torrent and all the fish went right up the river.

There's an odd spring or few for those inclined to do the time and search off the Fraser Mouth. Keys: Move on the fast side to cover area...and stick shallower....shallower than 80 feet.

Otherwise, from the summer we're having here in Vancouver, you'd think salmon are nearly extinct with the exception of the one bemoth 53lber measured out at 48.5" x 29.5" about a week and a half ago.

There's been some other decent fish around as well, but that was up to 2 weeks ago.

Howe Sound has signs of life, but otherwise it's a flatline.....
