I feel your pain.
It's the same BS the way they throw 'MILLIONS' to the salmon-farmers amidst continuous cut-backs in hatchery programs, enhancement/rehabilitation initiatives, enforcement etc.
They should put the logging companies to work spending that money to make reparations to the bazzillion rivers & streams they've decimated over the last five or six decades.
Wouldn't be many guys out of work then. Would there?
Then maybe one day in the not too distant future our children or grandchildren might once again see a return to those 100/thousand ton yearly harvest numbers that BC's rivers & streams are capable of... au-naturel!
