Any tips or sugestions for adding a 2nd helm to a 22seafarer.Thanks in advance for any advice

I've been looking at similar options. Not sure if you have Hydraulic Steering or Hydraulic Assist or just mechanical, so that will make a difference.
One option I have looked at is an AutoPilot with a remote control like the TR-1. You wear the remote around your neck, set the boat on a course and have the ability to control the throttle, steer and resume course -- nice for fighting fish. Even has some pre-programmed trolling routes (e.g. zig zag down a line, or keep over a spot). Works in both forward and reverse gears so would be very handy for back-trolling.

If you already have hydraulic steering, you are looking at around a grand for another helm/hoses.

hey kev, I just got all the riggin at ocean pac. for about 600$. (1.7 helm, wheel, tubing and fittings.

thanks for the replies got the hydrolic pump and a buddy's welding up a bracket to mount it on.Any sugestions to find a smaller wheel say 10 inch. Dont want a big goddy mess hangin on the stern
