Anyone out today ? Slow so far at tunstal not seeing much
It was very good for me first thing at Tunstall today. I managed to box 2 and release one small keeper after losing two, one to Whiskers and one to my own stupidity. I left Tunstall at 930am. Lots of sea life on the way back into Vancouver Harbour … dolphins, a couple transients between the mile markers and birds actively feeding.

The bell?
I think that’s by waterfall.

man you seem to catch em all the time . Can I come fishing with you next time to show me how to fish. I can’t seem to have any luck the last many outings . Questioning my ability lol

Fished Tunstall 8-1 with what seemed like 3/4 of the Vancouver fleet. Very busy but to be expected on a day like today I guess. Fished away from the herd, lots of bait around especially deep. Lots of bird activity, looked like baby anchovies or something on the surface.
Bagged a pair at 189/207 both on black flasher/3 inch herring aid. Had a handful of just unders. Feeling like Spring out there.

was a good bite there at tunstall around 11 i hooked into a few all at 60 cm just under defintly was some huge bait balls out there today
Well that figures. I was in the wrong place at 11:00! Some of those bait balls were so big I was thinking what’s the point - there’s no way a salmon is going to even see my lure. Meanwhile my lure was like one of those bait fish thinking strength in numbers.

Three just under size at gambier harbour just off mooring bouys ..
Solo so no pictures of fish but a lamprey, and some passing boats

Fished tunstall yesterday, found huge bait between bowen bay and king edward bay. 150-200 fow, first pass picked up decent hatchery, 135 on the rigger with 3" herring aid. At least a dozen more passes, up and down on the riggers without a bite. The red had ate three different size fish 2", 3" both very skinny, one 5"?. Beauty day for Feb.
