Thank you!Between Chatam and Discovery islands.
Isn't it really shallow in there? Are you casting?Between Chatam and Discovery islands.
Excellent! Thank you, that clears it up. I am a super newb.the "GAP" is geographically between the two islands ' , but for fishing it is the west side of the islands
Right on! Thank you. I've worked those humps for Lingcod many times but I've never seen anyone troll by.90-100' trench runs north/south typically fished on or near the bottom.
bite time is usually short, sometimes lock jaw can be a problem.
Some off the best ling spots are in the top end off the gapI would not waste my time in the GAP jigging for ling cod, there are much better spots for that. the Gap is all sand and mostly flat. Lings like pinnacles and rock.
Pinks are for people who can't catch springsFished the VH bouy for 3 hrs this morning for pinks, nothing doing. They shall show up soon in numbers.
Skipped work and did a early morning troll and jig out on the flats. Not as much bait or fish showing as the previous few weeks. Guess it will be void of salmon come Sunday. Did manage 3 springs and lost one. Biggest maybe 10 lbs. Skinny G Herring aid for all.
What an ignorant statement, from a guy who never backs up his BS fish stories with pictures. get a life.Pinks are for people who can't catch springs
It's TRUE, why are you so hung up on seeing pics? Is it because you don't see real fishWhat an ignorant statement, from a guy who never backs up his BS fish stories with pictures. get a life.
Top end of the gap??? Where is that? The gap runs East/West. Do you mean the East side of the islands. Some off the best ling spots are in the top end off the gap
