Will be out tomorrow for a quick fish (9-2)....likely won't head over to west Bowen but work English Bay instead. Will report back.

Picked up a 22” shaker about an hour ago. Between first and second mile marker in about 140’ of water.

Just got whiskered on a legal.

Irish Cream Skinny G has got all the fish for us including a just under. All action has been around the freighter from Mumbai out off the mile markers.

Fishing sucked for me. Nothing but shakers. Prawns were A-OK.

Fished Grace for 3 hours today. Couple unders and 2 keepers. Small guy was 65cm, didn’t measure the tubby but was around 13#. One of the bigger winters I’ve caught. Was a hatchery marble. All on chovies. Tried some new prawn ground, wasn’t great but managed enough for a birthday dinner tonight. Had a visitor in prawn trap. 5 keeper crab. Managed to stay warm in the convertible out there.

Nice day fishing Defense. Early hit and catch on a flowing tide at 200’, green glo hochie, green flasher, short leader, 5’ from cannon ball. Nice bright red 64cm Spring. Little wind and calm seas.
