Have they added the second dock at Tulista? Will they even bother?

Doesn't that coincide with the usual closing date on the West side of Moresby? What a coincidence.... Is there anything else those pukes can do to our area....

It is my understanding these very specific closures have expired and correct me if I am wrong new ones have not been announced and will be superseded by the new over all restrictions.

June 1 to Sept. 30 2018 Fisheries management measures to protect Southern Resident Killer Whales

June 1 to Sept. 30: Finfish closure for recreational fishery and salmon closure for commercial fishery in Subareas 18-2, 18-4, 18-5 and 18-9.

June 1 to Sept. 30: Finfish closure for recreational fishery and salmon closure for commercial fishery in Subareas 20-3, 20-4 and a portion of Subarea 20-5 west of Otter Point.

I think he's referring to the Chinook restrictions in place to protect Cowichan fish, not the BS whale zones.

I decided to go back out today. I say screw the new regs! I bonked 12,14 and 19 pounders by myself no less. Those barbed trebles really held them on...

Okay to be honest I got skunked again. Lots of bait around coal but bait and spoons weren’t getting the job done. Got 4 rock crab for Easter dinner tomorrow.

It was so beautiful out there!

Stizz, are you getting no fish, or nothing of size?
To be honest, I landed one at fairfax. Maybe 3lbs on a green brine anchovy. I knew it was a fish when it “hit” but let’s just say it didn’t get my blood pumping.

Looks like your sounder is on simulator mode with all that activity

I have the next week off and will be at Elk a few times for sure. I like the morning when the lake is flat. Fishing has been quite good out thete lately I hear.

I would rather release a few springs than eat the gross fish out of elk lake !!!

To each there own, the regs have been in place for 1 day so I am not that hungry yet.
