What area did you fish today????

work or fish was running with me today
but fishing won over
as the wind was not to bad

ended up being a red letter day

25-1/4lb white spring and an 11lber to boot


green splatter 3.5 spoon back done the damage just off the bottom

and only one other boat around and thanks to the chap as he had to turn out
as the fish went on a bit of a walk

and me was fishing solo so things where kind of fun and games
and the proof in the pics

great looking fish! We were out new years day. Should have brought crackers for all that fog soup. lol Only caught Budwieser so it was still a good day.

Was out Friday for first time in New Year - one hit on hoochie resulted in an 11lb marbled spring. Followed up yesterday and skunked!

what would make you say that ?

They tend to hit Howe Sound before heading up the Fraser in late Feb/early March. Judging by the size of the fish it would be my guess.

Gotcha , I've caught lots of Birkenhead springs in the lower Lillouett over the years. Beautiful fish for sure.
